What Size Gumballs Should I Buy?

We offer a variety of shapes and sizes for a wide range of vending machines and needs. The smallest sizes start from just over a half inch and go up to 2 inches in diameter. If you’re buying gum balls for an older or home use machine, you’ll most likely need .62” size. Most modern, professional grade machines dispense 1” or 850 count gumballs. To determine the size you need, you can empty your machine and measure the opening of the dispensing wheel. If the opening is slightly larger than one inch, about the size of a quarter, then your machine will vend the 1” size. If the opening is closer to the size of a dime, then we recommend the .62” diameter.  Most of our ball gum is round but some come in unique shapes like our Colossal Fruit and Spinning Tops. Check the description on the individual product pages to determine if your machine is compatible. The one-inch size is typically sold 850 pieces per box and weighs 14-17 lbs. Small and vintage machines often require .62 inch diameter gumballs and this product is sold in 3,650-4,800 count per box. The size chart below will help you determine which size your machine can vend.  NOTE: Chart is for reference only. Size displayed on your monitor may not be to scale.
