Gumballs used in bulk vending are sold by what is known as "count" (i.e. 850 count gumballs). The 850 represents the number of pieces of gum in a case. It also is an indication of the size of a gumball (850 count is a 1 inch gumball). A case of bulk gum roughly measures 9” X 10” X 11” and the smaller the diameter of a gumball, the more product can fit into each case which means a higher count; the larger the size, the smaller the count in each case.
