Part K - 9 Point Gear Wheel - This is an authentic replacement part for the Carousel gumball machine line. The function of the 9-point gear wheel for King and Junior AND 6-point gear wheel for Petite, made of plastic, is to turn the adjustable dispensing wheel when the lever on the coin mechanism is turned. The gear wheel can be stripped when gum or candy is gets lodged in the candy wheel.

What size do I need? Measure the height of your machine from bottom of the red base to top lid. King measures 14"-15" tall and Junior 11"-12". This part is compatible with Carousel brand gumball machine.

These parts are becoming harder to find so I understand how pricing can become an issue. You bite the bullet, by the part and hope it's the one you needed. I found out that it was something different, but glad a that I purchased this Gear Wheel. Since my family has owned the machine since 1987, hopefully by finding parts like these will help us keep it in the family another 37 years.
Replacement gear arrived promptly and fits perfectly. Our gum ball machine is working again and kids couldn’t be happier.
